photographer + creator of indigo dreams studio
i'm a manchester-based photographer with over 15 years of experience, and the person behind indigo dreams studio - my creative studio in reddish, stockport, inspired by the nostalgia of the late 90s, 2000s + 2010s.
if you haven't already guessed, i'm a '91 baby who never really left the era of myspace, piczo, flip phones, glitter graphics, bratz, mcbling + ridiculously personalised websites - so a lot of indigo dreams is basically just my inner child having free rein ♡
my work takes a lot of inspiration from nostalgia, fashion, colour + dreamy imagery, but every shoot is different. you don't need to be a model or know what you're doing in front of a camera - i'll help you through it.
THE DREAMHOUSE ✮
i opened indigo dreams studio in 2022 because i wanted to create the kind of creative space i felt was missing - somewhere colourful, personal + a little less intimidating, but in the same month that i opened the studio, i was diagnosed with cancer! I had two options, sink or swim...I chose to be the mermaid that I am of course!
the studio unexpectedly became a really important part of my own healing + recovery - somewhere i could create, surround myself with things that made me happy + slowly find myself again.
that experience shaped a lot of what indigo dreams is today. i wanted to extend that same feeling to other people - a space where you can create, feel comfortable, be yourself + hopefully leave with a little dopamine boost ♡
i'm autistic + adhd myself, so creating a space that feels welcoming to neurodivergent, disabled + chronically ill creatives is especially important to me.
the studio is LGBTQIA+ friendly + open to everybody - from complete beginners having their first ever photoshoot to models, photographers, artists, small businesses + commercial clients.
the building is accessible for people with limited mobility + wheelchair users, with lift access to the studio. more detailed accessibility information is available on the studio page.
there's no expectation to arrive knowing exactly how everything works.

i'd much rather you communicate what you need than spend your shoot worrying about it.

i've been photographing people for over 15 years, with a love for portraiture, fashion, beauty + creative concepts.
you can book me for shoots inside the studio or on location, from simple portraits + portfolio shoots to fashion, campaigns, content, events + larger creative projects.
my photography tends to have a dreamy, nostalgic, slightly cinematic feel - but i'm happy to work around the direction of your project rather than making everything look exactly the same.
most importantly, i want you to leave with photographs that actually feel like you.
MORE THAN A PHOTO STUDIO ✮
indigo dreams is also available to hire privately, so you can bring your own photographer, videographer, stylist, MUA or creative team and make the space your own.
i also collect + sell original late 90s / 2000s vintage clothing, with pieces available through my vintage shop and selected items available for styling + shoots.
the studio has gradually become a home for all the things i love - photography, fashion, retro culture + turning my crazy ideas into something real.
